Nym partners with Zcash to bring network-layer privacy protections

Nym Applied sciences mentioned it has acquired a $150,000 grant from Zcash Neighborhood Grants to carry the metadata privateness protections to the Zcash ecosystem.

In a blog post on Feb. 13, Nym Technologies mentioned the collaboration goals to combine the privateness protections of Nym’s mixnet into Zcash‘s (ZEC) infrastructure, providing end-to-end privateness options for Zcash customers and addressing knowledge leakage vulnerabilities.

In line with the announcement, the mixing will contain incorporating Nym’s mixnet into the sunshine consumer libraries developed by Electrical Coin Firm, a non-profit group behind the Zcash ecosystem.
